Cricut Cardz Challenge #103, "You Take the Cake!"

Here is my entry into Cricut Cardz Challenge #103? This week, “You Take the Cake!” 


The theme was to Make a birthday card with a cake or cupcake using any cartridges or colors you’d like.


I made this card for a coworker who is have a birthday this week.


Cricut Cartridge: Simply Charmed. I manipulated the pie image in CCR to look like a huge cupcake.


Paper: Recollections "Spring Collection" and Recollections "Bold Basics" Paper Pad.


Embellishments: glitter, ribbon and gems.


Outside: Let's Celebrate


Inside: Birthdays are nature's way of telling us to eat more cake stamp.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #102, “A Stitch in Time”

Here is my entry for the "A Stitch in Time" challenge at CardzTV.

Paper used: Scraps

Cartridges used: Create a Critter for bunny, grass, chick, shell and basket. Eggs came from the Cake Basic cartridge. Simply Charmed for the carrot. Created the bunny, eggs, chick, shell and the carrot using with CCR and Imagine.

Sentiment: Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art and Cricut Marker.

Pattern: Imagine More Cards

Embellishments: Glitter, Gel Pens, Glossy Accents, Ribbon

"Be My Valentine!"

Here is my entry to another contest going on at CardzTV. I've also entered this in the contest over at My Crafty Spot.

Cartridges used: Cake Basics

Size: Standard A2 or A6 size (can't remember which one)

Paper used: DCWV - "Love and Marriage" Stack

I took the base cover and cut out three different sized hearts. I placed that over a piece of heart patterned paper.

Embellishments: Ribbon and For My Love stamp.  Pink colored distressed ink is inked all around the edges.

June in January contest over at CardzTV

Here is another entry for the contest over at CardzTV. This theme is June in January. We had to create a summer themed card. Here is what I came up with. I live in Florida now but I'm originally from up North. NYC gal! Brooklyn girl!

I've made this card for the contest over at CARDZTV. This challenge was to create a New Years themed card.

This is my first post!

My name is Chrissy and I am new to scrapbooking. I've been making cards for the last two months. I'm a creative person, so I decided to try my hand in scrapbooking and I am enjoying every minute of it.
